Interested in Volunteering?

We offer a variety of opportunities for involvement in our Garden from hands in the dirt to Board membership. Check us out on the United Way of Dane County Volunteer Portal  or send an email to smithscrossingcommunitygarden@gmail.com

Opportunities for Membership

You will lease a perennial garden bed, gain a community of like minded gardeners, have access to tools, seeds, plants - and social events.


Cost of Membership

A small plot is $25, medium is $35, or large for $55.   There are two forms of payment: PayPal or a written check. If these two forms do you not work, email us!

Please use PayPal or email smithscrossingcommunitygarden@gmail.com to arrange a time to meet and drop off a check. Please do not mail checks.

If paying by check, make it payable to “Smiths Crossing Community Garden.” Email us to schedule a time to meet a board member at the garden to collect the check. 


Sign up Dates

You can sign up to plant with us whenever you want. We will welcome you anytime, however it's important to keep in mind that we tend to run out of plots early in the growing season!
